Defensa mui Iusta que hase El Maestre de scuela de la S. ta Yglecia de Oaxaca, por el ... marques de Gelves ... : Mexico : ms., 1624.

A defense of the Marqués de Gelves, viceroy of New Spain, written by an ecclesiastic of the Oaxaca church, evidently shortly after the uprising of January 1624, which had grown out of the conflict between the viceroy and Archbishop Serna. Stresses Gelves' beneficence and contrasts it favorably with the provisional regime of the Real Audiencia.
